marilyn toomsalu rmt

Marilyn Toomsalu RMT is a graduate of the College of Massage & Hydrotherapy (2011) and has additional specialty training in Prenatal and Infant Massage. She also has a strong dance background and is still closely associated with dance, gymnastics and acrobatics through teaching. Marilyn was initially drawn to Massage Therapy because of the wide range of conditions it is beneficial for and because it compliments her previous training, knowing she can draw on personal experience and education to help her patients.

She describes her treatment style as smooth and flowing, often “sneaking up” on problem areas through indirect or gentler means in order to address very painful and sensitive areas of musculature. Her particular passions are prenatal massage and working with anyone who is actively seeking solutions to their pain issues and has a special gift of being able to put almost anyone to sleep. She enjoys making homecare a part of people’s daily lives – coming up with easy ways to integrate it into an existing daily routine and loves cycling and outdoor summer sports. Marilyn has a BFA in Dance from York University and speaks English and Estonian. She is also certified in Hot Stone Massage
